Though her team came up short, McNutt put up 26 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 steals. She had another 9-board game against Couch out of Missouri to go along with her 19 points. She then followed that performance up with 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 blocks against Marshall.

McNutt, who is more of a forward than a guard, has proven to be a force to be reckoned with on both ends of the floor. She has excellent instincts when swatting shots and forcing turnovers, and on the other end, no one can stop her on her way to the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='1245249' first='Myah' last='McNutt'] was definitely deserving of moving up from the Watch List, and now she is a threat to continue rising in the rankings.

When I first watched [player_tooltip player_id='881232' first='Janae' last='Johnson'] at the Houston Hoops basketball evaluation event this summer, I just knew that she was going to be a star. So far, I have been proven right.

One of Johnson best performances by far was her 33-point, 7-rebound outburst against Greenwood earlier this month. Through 3 games in the NB Classic this month, Johnson averaged 15 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2 steals a contest.

Johnson is an incredible finisher, but her outside shot is too lethal to warrant her open along the perimeter. As a 6'0" small forward, she is too tough to deal with in the paint, as she can score over any defender. On defense, she is also a pain, as her long wingspan makes her a threat to steal every pass and block any shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='881232' first='Janae' last='Johnson'] is quickly turning into a star. Keep an eye on her and this solid Central squad this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1225338' first='Paytin' last='Moore'] has instantly found her role this season, and there was no way she wasn't going to move into the rankings.

Moore has produced on both sides of the ball in every game, and she is stuffing the stat sheet. Against Dardanelle, she put up 14 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks, doing no wrong!

Moore has shown that she can attack downhill with a full head of steam. If she isn't finishing at the rim, then she is usually headed to the free throw line, as defenses are forced to foul her. Moore has also shown that she has serious range. In that game against Dardanelle, she hit a deep three between the arc and the half court line, beating the buzzer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1225338' first='Paytin' last='Moore']'s smooth jumper and tenacious defensive ability are part of why she is ranked in the top 60 of the 2028 class. If she continues to produce like she has been so far, she will be much higher than 60 by the time the next rankings are released.

[player_tooltip player_id='1265291' first='Carrington' last='Marks'] is Bryant's starting center, making her an excellent pairing alongside Jaisha Williams. With Marks' play, there was no way she was not going to be ranked.

In a recent win over Greenwood, Marks recorded a double-double, logging 12 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 steals. Against Westside in early December, Marks put up 11 points and 8 rebounds.

Marks has been setting the tone on both ends of the floor, and dominating the boards every time she is out there. She uses her athleticism and her toughness to grab every rebound she sees, while turning offensive rebounds into buckets.

[player_tooltip player_id='1265291' first='Carrington' last='Marks'] has been excellent this year. She is growing in her abilities, but she has provided a tough presence for a very young Bryant squad.

Jasper just consistently produces great talent, year after year. Another one of their talented players is [player_tooltip player_id='876192' first='Kylee' last='Carlton'].

In a November contest against Cotter, Carlton recorded a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds. She had another double-double against Dardanelle in early December, logging 19 points and 12 rebounds to go along with 2 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block.

Carlton has been great on the glass, grabbing just about every defensive rebound she sees. Of course, the opposition must keep her off the glass, as she has shown that she is a putback boss. Carlton also has some perimeter skills, showcasing her handle by bringing the ball up the floor, even pushing in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='876192' first='Kylee' last='Carlton'] will not be #82 for much longer, so keep up with her and this Lady Pirate squad.

Five players moved up from the Watch List to the rankings after the last ranking update. They have proven to be exceptional players and key difference-makers for their teams.
