Lauren Dvorak Lauren Dvorak 6'0" | PF Madrid | 2026 State IA almost averaged a double-double from her PF position this season with Madrid High School. Dvorak, the 6’0 Forward, scored 9.5 PPG and 10.8 RPG this Winter to help her program to a nearly .500 record overall. This is a hooper that primarily works inside the paint. She knows her role near the bucket and she doesn’t move off of that too often. She isn’t the type to try to save the day by making a risky play. She would rather work within her frame, use her fundamentals, and dominate with size on the block. This Winter, compared to others, she did show that she was willing to shoot it a little bit from the outside but overall – she worked inside the three point line while going towards the middle of the lane. Dvorak sneaks into the Top 100 at #95 in this Update. This Class is no joke so to be anywhere in the Top 100 means something.

Lauren Dvorak Lauren Dvorak 6'0" | PF Madrid | 2026 State IA put on a rebounding clinic in her team’s showing to end last week. Dvorak took the floor with some bad intentions against Greene County and she made the opponent pay with her strategic play-style. When the final buzzer sounded, Dvorak finished with 15 points and 24 rebounds. Whenever you have rebounds at this amount for a regulation game, it’s noteworthy. It demonstrates that the player has heart, a motor, and they aren’t afraid to be confidently aggressive. We saw all of those things out of Lauren in this event and I can’t wait to see how her crew builds on that moving forward.

Lauren Dvorak Lauren Dvorak 6'0" | PF Madrid | 2026 State IA has stepped up as Madrid’s second big producer so far this Winter at the PF position. Not only is Dvorak making plays under the bucket as an offensive threat and a defensive stopper but she is assisting others that become open off her output, she is screening away and creating space for those around her, and she isn’t afraid of being someone to get on the floor or to dive into the stands for a lose ball when those chances present themselves. Which is noteworthy for someone out of the Forward position, standing at over 6’0 tall. Madrid should be able to do some things when it matters over the next three months. If prospects like Dvorak continue to do their thing, who knows how far they will take things.
