The leader and captain of a Powhatan team! Plays some wing but plays mostly power froward , it looks like she can play a little point forward. Has no problem handling the ball and does a nice job of getting downhill and to an area where she can make a layup or create an open look for her teammate. Has good size and is athletic forward with inside-out skills. She is a player that plays both ends of the floor with a lot of effort and competes every possession. She has good range all over the floor and can finish around the rim. Just recently picked up an offers from Richard Bland! High IQ guard that consistently makes the right play! Miya is also proficient at shooting the three. Is good driving to the basket when she's ran off the three point line. She has a nice size for a guard and is really an unrated athlete. Great size for a wing, it looks like she's developing into one of the elite three point shooters in the state. Has improved handling the ball and can be crafty with the ball in her hands, and does a nice job of getting downhill and to an area where she can make a layup or create an open look for her teammate. Good defender that is capable of guarding all three backcourt positions. Kamari is a confident guard with that go getter mentality. She is aggressive attacking the basket and very comfortable with the ball in her hands with the game on the line. She isn't afraid of contact and draws a lot fouls with her ability to beat defenders one-on-one and get into the paint.
