About Lia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a versatile PG/SG with good ball control and court vision, a high motor with fast paced unselfish style of play, and I love getting my team involved. I am active inside the perimeter, a strong rebounder, pressure ball handlers forcing turnovers and I can score the 3, midrange shot, or drive to the basket. Sophomore year I led my team with points scored (401),assists, and steals.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a leader, have good work ethic, and I always try to set a good example for my coach, program, and teammates. I believe in working hard, team bonding, lifting up my teammates as their team captain to build confidence and team chemistry. I am competitive, relentless, unselfish, and I will do whatever my team or coach needs me to do!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Member of Student Council and Class Treasurer since sophomore year, member of chorus, and member of Key Club. All Academic Team Award for Freshman and Sophomore Year and I am in All Honors and AP classes and I have made high honors every quarter since freshman year in high school. I have been able to solve the Rubik’s cube since I was 9 years old and my fastest time is 48 seconds!

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I was awarded sportsmanship award in 2024 for my high school basketball team. I was named captain of my high school basketball team as a junior and have attended several leadership meetings and trips to help strengthen my leadership skills. I volunteer at my church and do community service as a basketball camp counselor every summer.

What type of college are you looking for?

Currently I am undecided and unsure where I would like attend college.
