Dynamic Duos - Class of 2021 - SC A High School Basketball season is built on how well the players know each other and trust what the others are doing on the court, you find this on teams that have players that are in the same Graduating class together and may have played travel ball outside of school. This list will identify some of the Best Pairings of Teammates that are in the same recruiting class. RidgeView High School - This was a strong season where they finished 21 - 8 overall and made it to the Upper State Semifinals but with the amount of talent coming back next year they have a bright future. Laila A’Cox is a special player at the High School level and finished her Junior year averaging 16.2 Points - 9.8 Rebounds - 2.1 Steals, when you put that with there returning Point Guard Mariah Mitchem who averaged 7.4 Points - 3.9 Assists - 2.6 Steals , they will be a tough out from the SCHSL playoffs next year. Northwood Academy - Coming off another year where they made it to the SCISAA 3A State Championship game but came up short they have there eyes on the future as they return everyone on their roster including 6’2” - Post - KeAirra Gregory who averaged 11.3 Points - 10.0 Rebounds - 1.5 Blocks and will be a major player next year. [player_tooltip player_id="124074" first="Anaya" last="Manigault"] is a 6’1” rising Senior that is a prospect that colleges need to pay attention to because of her versatility, she averaged 8.6 Points - 5.4 Rebounds - 2.6 Steals during this last season and I see those numbers going up next year. Dreher High School - Finished the season 15 - 8 on the season and made an appearance in the SCHSL 4A State playoffs, they owe a lot of there seasons success to [player_tooltip player_id="124085" first="Kourtney" last="English"] who averaged 13 Points - 8.5 Rebounds - 3.9 Steals and really showed herself to be a threat from beyond the 3-Pt line. When you pair Kourtney with [player_tooltip player_id="124087" first="Amber" last="Burton"] who averaged 13.6 Points - 7.9 Rebounds - 2.8 Steals and can dominate the lane or in the mid-range with a smooth touch it is an almost unstoppable combination. This group will be a dangerous team to stop on the offensive side next year. Clover High School - Made a run to Colonial Life Arena with a 28 - 3 record and lost a heartbreaker to Goose Creek by 4 points, one good thing is that the core of their team is young… Leading scorer and All State honoree [player_tooltip player_id="124069" first="Aylesha" last="Wade"] is coming back for her Senior year, she averaged 20.5 Points - 3.1 Assists - 2.5 Steals per game and picked up a bunch of Division 1 offers. Junior forward Janelle Carter was a great frontcourt compliment to Wade by averaging 9.8 Points - 7.1 Rebounds - 2.3 Steals per game and I see those numbers going up next year as they look to make another run to Colonial Life.
