It's a must, especially when it comes to playing this sport. I have been covering this sport for some time now, and if you don't have solid guard play, well let's just say your team will struggle. Your offense may be stagnant. Pressure would be put on your primary scorers. Having someone who can efficiently run an offense and take it to the rack is crucial, especially in today's environment.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The city of Chattanooga, I will say, is a hub right now for solid guard play that has sparked major interest at the collegiate level. Girls who can command an offense, knock down shots, take it to the hoop, and defend have made this area home. They have made a name for themselves both in the high school ranks and on the circuit. Colleges both near and far have taken a liking to these young ladies' particular skill set. They represent the 423 area and are truly some gems who are elevating their game and those around them. Love her demeanor and how she approaches this game.&nbsp; She plays with an edge about her as she competes on every possession like it's her last. She has range to her game, can attack and get to the rim, drop dimes for teammates to shoot off of, but, more importantly, she is the commander and chief and makes her squad go. She has fielded multiple D1 offers from Power 4 schools lately. She is an elite finisher and has put on a show for all to witness as she knifes through defenses. She is an artist as she can create space off the bounce like no other.&nbsp; Don't let her size fool you, as she packs a powerful punch, and in every possession, she is on a mission to destroy the opposition. A high volume scoring threat who is a big time outing every single game. She has quick hands and feet, enabling her to change direction in a split second. She is a name to remember, as she is one of the top up-and-coming guards in the area, attracting collegiate eyes.
