Ava has a really portable playstyle with her ability to play off the ball. She does a lot of her work as a spot-up shooter, and she has a nice pull-up mid-range game she gets to when she gets run off the line. Ava does a good job on the glass and plays with a high IQ. Mikayla is the engine for a good Lightridge team. Her ball handling and ability to get downhill are outstanding, and she has some of the best vision in NOVA. I love the guards Potomac has, and one of the more unheralded ones that deserves more attention is Breanna Semenuk. Breanna is a nice fit as a smaller two guard for this team. She is an excellent defender and a lot of times draws the matchup of guarding the opposing team's best perimeter scorer. Alisha has made a little bit of a name for herself the past few months, and she is starting to gain steam as one of the better freshmen in the area. Alisha is another terrific perimeter player with quick, active hands. She has a great motor and plays with a really high IQ for a freshman. She handles the ball well and does a great job as a facilitator going downhill. The way they move without the ball and play unselfishly is refreshing. Keira Stanford's play exemplifies this. She is an excellent cutter and does a great job finishing with either hand. Keira is a very good spot-up shooter with great size as a two guard. She does a great job on defense and on the glass. Isabel does a great job attacking the rim and finishes through people well. She has good length and is a fantastic athlete, and both those things play into her being an excellent defender.
