The sophomore shooting guard hit two more by halftime and was key in helping Cherokee jump out to a 30-13 lead at intermission. She finished with a career-high 17 points and five threes as the Chiefs held on and defeated Middle Township, 51-44.</p>

Joe-Samuel, a junior, has been one of the most consistent and unguardable players in the region, and she showed that again on Sunday. She did it all, driving and drawing fouls, making three-balls, and executing at the line.</p>
