Evie Goetz Evie Goetz 5'11" | SF Denton Guyer | 2021 State TX (Denton Guyer)
Goetz is solid, long and athletic, creates her shot under pressure, can attack the rim and finish after the lick, can hit the stop and pop from mid-range, or the buzzer-beater from anywhere. The TCU commit also shoots the three well plus she defends and rebounds
Vasana Kearney Vasana Kearney 5'9" | SF South Grand Prairie | 2021 State TX (South Grand Prairie)
Kearney has D with a circled around it so that means she brought heat on the defensive end but it didn’t cool off on the offensive side as she can handle the ball, attack the rim strongly as well as shoot the long ball but she also mixes in a nice step back to create separation
Jaidah Black Jaidah Black 6'1" | SF Boswell | 2021 State TX (Boswell)
Black mixes it up nicely on offense, she can attack the basket from the wing, she has a nice 10-15 foot jumper and she’s also good at finishing, this includes getting position for offensive rebounds yet her rebounding on the defensive end as well as her defense also looks good
2022
Jiya Perry Jiya Perry 5'11" | SF DeSoto | 2022 State TX (Desoto)
Perry consistently does the little things that are somewhat of a lost art, such as “follows her shot” and understands the importance of “boxing out” yet her midrange is on point, she definitely attacks strong and uses her body well plus she can defend
Laila McLeod Laila McLeod 5'10" | SF Duncanville | 2022 State TX (Duncanville)
McCleod was a key to Duncanville winning state and somewhat of an unsung hero as she fills in so many blanks that may not show up on a scoresheet but the important things that do, rebounds, and scores in the flow stand out as well. She can hit the mid consistently as well as attack
Jadyn Fife Jadyn Fife 6'0" | SF Keller Fossil Ridge | 2022 State TX (Keller Fossil Ridge)
Fife’s court sense and reaction on defense have always been there as well as her finding ways to put the ball in the basket. She’s long, she’s athletic and she uses her body well around the basket with good hands and footwork but she can take defenders from the wing and hit the stop and pop
2023
Janiah Allen Janiah Allen 5'10" | SF Denton Ryan | 2023 State TX (Denton Ryan)
Allen scores well on the inside, understands positioning and use it nicely rebounding on both ends of the court. She has good athleticism, moves feet well on defense yet she also can put it on the floor and attack the basket. Showed she could shoot the midrange
Jules LaMendola Jules LaMendola 5'10" | SF Coppell | 2023 State TX (Coppell)
LaMendola is gifted with the base, long and athletic, and watching her just take over games the first tournament I saw her play in gave me an idea of what was coming. She glides in the air and has great body control yet finishes strong after contact plus she can shoot it from outside well
