2021
Taliyah Harris- 5’5 Combo (Lakeview Centennial) Texas Elite Terps
Harris has started at the PG for three years and the game starts at the one, so with the team finishing 24-6 during the season and 12-2 in the district, that gives somewhat of an idea about her leadership. I had a glimpse of her myself last season at PBR Super 64, she’s explosive off the dribble and has good court vision but what really impressed me is that she plays under control and handled the ball under pressure
Ri’ yah Francis- 6’2 Forward (Cypress Creek) Houston-UTD
Francis played a huge role in her squad losing only one game last season and the 41-1 Cougars will be once again the team to beat in Region 3 6A. She was the 6th man, backed Morgan Hill Morgan Hill 6'1" | PF Cypress Creek | 2020 State TX (Louisiana Monroe) yet played huge throughout the season, especially in the playoffs. She finishes, she rebounds and she defends but she’s also fluid and under control and should make a lot of noise the upcoming season
2022
Olivia Brennan – 5’8 Guard (TCA Addison) Drive Nation
Brennan’s name preceded her so catching her in action via Memorex on another player during an event, I saw that she had some serious skills and after further review, she not only increased her three pointers made as a sophomore to 91, up from 79 as a freshman but it’s the way she shoots it that impressed me. Her quick release and ability to “catch and shoot” is big for the next level, I see what’s coming
2023
Katelyn Jones -5’6 Combo (Denton Guyer) Texas Lonestar Black
Jones started the latter part of the season for Guyer who finished 31-6 on the season and lost in the 2nd round to Cedar Hill by a point but she’ll play an even larger role this season with Jade Thompson Jade Thompson 5'6" | CG Denton Guyer | 2020 State TX graduating and heading to Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Jones can play the 1 or the 2 and with the experience she received, she may keep the Big Three going teaming with TCU commit Evie Goetz Evie Goetz 5'11" | SF Denton Guyer | 2021 State TX and Isabella Earle Isabella Earle 5'8" | SG Denton Guyer | 2021 State TX
