With their primary floor leader sidelined for the early part of the season due to injury, Rich enters the tournament as the No. 4 seed — but they may be the most dangerous team in the bracket. Getting healthy at the right time changes the equation, especially for a roster that has had to grow up quickly and develop depth in the absence of its go-to player.

This is a team that's simply fun to watch. They play with pace, move the ball with purpose, and show a natural feel for spacing and timing. Laci and Kira attack downhill without hesitation, absorbing contact and finishing strong at the rim, while Molly and Braylynn stretch the floor with smart off-ball movement and confident range from deep. Their chemistry and willingness to make the extra pass make their offense tough to guard.

After speaking with several of their players, the message was consistent: this group believes they are better now because of the adversity. Roles were clarified, younger players were forced into bigger minutes, and the team learned how to manufacture points and defensive stops without leaning on one option. Now, with more pieces available and confidence built through tough stretches, Rich could be peaking at exactly the right time.

I think that we have a pretty special team. We are all friends, and that helps translate onto the court when we play with each other! One of our main strengths is how we work together; we're very unselfish and make sure to find the right looks when playing, and we share the ball very well. A weakness we may have is the injuries that some of our players have had to go through this season, but as we've gotten farther into the season, these injuries haven't set us back! We're all pretty pumped for state and are ready to roll these next two weeks!

Strengths: We play very well together and have great team chemistry. We have a lot of great athletes in the gym who push each other to be their best. Weaknesses: Sometimes, we can all be too selfless. Going into state, I'm excited to be able to play with my team in such a fun environment, and do our best.

Our team is very fast. We like to push the ball and score on transition rather than in the half-court. We have played together for almost three years now, so we have really good chemistry. The only problem is that we sometimes want our teammates to score more than we want ourselves to score. We are looking to get them open when we are the ones open. I am so excited to go compete at state one last time with my team.
