Long sold me a few months ago, see evaluation here so I knew she would be in the mix, but again, she’s playing a few years up, and if I didn’t know that, she would still be in that group. Her upside is scary; she’s fearless on both ends, and seeing her attack and finish strongly off the dribble is one thing, but her “step back” is going to create some problems for defenders

Long is a “long and athletic” guard, which is also the base, so watching her not only create her shot but also create spacing to get it off was nice, as was her timing to block shots. Her pull-up jumper looked good, and she showed she could “catch and shoot” yet her first step was a problem for defenders
