Gabby Evans is actually a junior, not a senior, but she sure plays like one.

Evans was a consistent scorer last season for the Nevada Lady Bluejays. She had solid performances, even in losses, like a 16-point outing against Blevins towards the beginning of conference play. She was even better in a win against Garrett Memorial, scoring 23 points and logging 5 assists and 5 steals.

Evans can get a bucket from anywhere. She is a great driver who can initiate contact and finish with ease, but she will also step back and knock down a big shot from outside. Evans can also use her handle to create space inside the arc and splash a mid-range jumper.

Gabby Evans and the Lady Jays face Bradford to open up their season, and we’re going to have a great lead-guard matchup ahead of us.
