Nichols has junior varsity experience with South Iredell but this 2029 displayed plenty of varsity-level talent when Team Hickory Basketball Club 15U matched up against Lady Playmakers 15U on Saturday morning at Marietta HS. She stands at 5-foot-6 and gives a noteworthy 3-point shooting dimension to a team’s efforts. Even though her team mostly struggled against the Georgia-based bunch, a bright spot of her team’s effort was Nichols connecting on two of her team’s tries from behind the 3-point line. A midrange jumper is also part of Nichols’ offensive repertoire and she understands the value of keeping one’s hands outstretched as a defender.
