About Piper

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a 3 point shooter and a defense player, and loves to get their teammates open

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m determined, competitive, a leader, and try to get my teammates involved.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed strong leadership and teamwork skills through basketball by encouraging my teammates, communicating on and off the court, and leading by example with my effort and attitude. I am coachable, disciplined, and always try to bring positive energy to practices and games. Outside of basketball, I value serving others and being part of my community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Since I’m 5’3 and not the tallest on the court I have had to find creative ways to contribute to the game as one of the smaller ones. I used to feel like I didn’t belong and that my identity was rapped up in my success on the court. I have overcome this, I know I belong, and my identity is more than just a basketball player.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like a D2 or a small D1. I would love for it to be a Faith based school but it does not have to be.
