Bo Melder Bo Melder 5'7" | SG/PG Pottsville | 2028 State AR had a great showing in Jacksonville a couple of weekends ago, and she truly shot the lights out.

During one scrimmage, Melder probably had 7-8 points in just a couple of minutes. She was hitting catch-and-shoot threes without any hesitation and against heavy closeouts. She can singlehandedly break down a 2-3 zone with her outside shooting, opening up driving lanes for her team.

Besides outside shooting, Melder was finding other ways to score. She was pulling up from mid-range, making nice cuts to the basket, and attacking the offensive glass. Her work inside was outstanding, and she proved that she could be a true scorer.

Bo Melder Bo Melder 5'7" | SG/PG Pottsville | 2028 State AR has flown up the rankings over the last few months, but let’s see if she can’t rise higher after The Expo: Arkansas.

Melder was one of Pottsville’s go-to scoring options last season, thanks to her aggressive scoring inside and her ability to knock down big shots from the perimeter, even with a hand in her face.

Outside of scoring, Melder is making plays for others. Since she draws a lot of attention with the ball in her hands, Melder is always willing to shoot a quick pass to a teammate for a wide-open bucket. She is also a solid defender, using a solid wingspan to disrupt her assignments.

Bo Melder Bo Melder 5'7" | SG/PG Pottsville | 2028 State AR has already attracted the attention of Hendrix and Williams Baptist, but if she shows out in Jacksonville later this month, I doubt those will still be her lone offers.

Bo Melder Bo Melder 5'7" | SG/PG Pottsville | 2028 State AR may very well be the most accomplished player on this team, but also the most disrespected by the rankings (our bad).

I want to keep highlighting the Hardwood NWA Blast that was held in late May, because Arkansas Hype went 5-0 and were the champs, but players like Melder were just doing a bit of everything to come away victorious.

In that tournament, Melder was impressive when it came to facilitating. She was playing unselfishly, making the extra pass, getting the ball down low to the bigs, and running the offense out of set plays and the pick-and-roll. When she wasn’t the ball-dominant option, Melder was running around screens and knocking down open looks from three. She was also playing some fantastic defense.

Bo Melder Bo Melder 5'7" | SG/PG Pottsville | 2028 State AR is a highly underrated player in the 2028 class, but at this point, opposing AAU squads know that she is a real threat on the scouting report.

#218 is not acceptable, as Bo Melder Bo Melder 5'7" | SG/PG Pottsville | 2028 State AR is a straight up bucket-getter.

Melder was an all-conference performer this past season, and it’s not hard to see why, considering she is an excellent two-way player. On defense, Melder is a pest, picking pockets every other possession and absolutely clamping up her opponent.

Offensively, Melder can hurt you in a number of ways. She is a good 3-point shooter who cannot be left open, and if she sees a lane to the basket, she’s going to find a way to finish. The sophomore also has good vision, and her passes are on time and on target. Also, she is clutch, as she has already hit a game-winner at the buzzer.

Bo Melder Bo Melder 5'7" | SG/PG Pottsville | 2028 State AR has already been offered by Hendrix College and Williams Baptist, and I bet she will be in store for more offers in the near future.
