Girias played with a level of poise you don't always see at this stage. The Washington native showed a mature, all-around game—able to score within the flow while also facilitating and keeping others involved. She didn't rush decisions and operated with a strong feel for pace and spacing. What stood out most was her ability to balance scoring and playmaking without forcing action.

Zender was one of the more physically impactful players in the building. She established position early and often, running the floor hard and getting to her spots with purpose. She's not just a traditional post—she showed touch facing up and the ability to step out and knock down perimeter shots, which adds another layer to her game. Defensively, she anchored the paint, altering and blocking multiple shots.

Chen was one of the more active guards throughout the event. She consistently put pressure on the defense by attacking the basket and moving without the ball. She didn't need to dominate the dribble to be effective—she finds gaps and makes herself available. She also showed range from beyond the arc, which keeps defenders honest.

Area brought versatility with her length and feel. She sees the floor well and is comfortable making plays for others, especially from the wing. What stood out was her ability to stretch the floor—she stepped out and knocked down perimeter shots with confidence. She's a fluid athlete who can impact the game in multiple areas, and her skill set gives her flexibility.

Casey controlled the game in a way that doesn't always show up in the box score but matters when you're evaluating guards. She kept the offense organized, moved the ball, and made the right reads without overcomplicating things. She didn't hunt shots, but when opportunities presented themselves—especially in transition—she capitalized. She plays with a steady tempo and understands how to keep teammates engaged.
