Essie talks and points on the defensive end, immediately finds her girl when a shot goes up to box out, and has the ability to run the one spot or play off the ball. She’s not afraid to pull it from beyond the arc and is a nuisance for opposing ball-handlers on the defensive end. Essie will be a two-way player at the high school level and a solid addition to the Plymouth program. She fit right in with Team 6 at the PGH Michigan Freshman Showcase.

Essie, a guard for The Factory, made her presence felt on both ends of the floor at the PGH College Tour. Defensively, she was disruptive from start to finish, anticipating passes, jumping into passing lanes, and turning steals into transition opportunities. On the offensive end, she showed confidence with the ball in her hands, creating separation for a smooth step-back jumper while also knocking down shots from beyond the three-point line. Her ability to impact the game as both a defender and scorer made her one of the more complete guards on the floor.
