Key Players to Watch
Megan Alexander Megan Alexander 6'1" | C Freedom | 2022 State WI | 5’8 G | Phillips
A high scoring guard, Eggebrecht has been an impact player for her high school squad since her freshman season. She has incredible handles and ability to get to the basket. With a bag full of moves, the Phillips standout always shocks me with her shot selection. She averaged 23.4 points per game and 4.1 assists.
Makenna Rohrschieb | 5’9 G | Regis
An athletic role player for her Playmakers squad, look for Rohrscheib to be a go-to defender. She moves well on defense and has quick footwork. She can certainly be an offensive threat as well and is most effective attacking the lane or off an offensive board. Look for her to also develop her perimeter shot, as if she is left open she will take the shot. She averaged 13.1 points per game for Regis last season.
Gianna Vollrath | 6’2 F | Fall Creek
The only player listed above 6 foot for Wisconsin Playmakers. Volrath will have a huge role this summer when the team competes against strong post players. She will be the go-to defender for guarding in the paint and blocking shots. She is a balanced player who uses her body well without fouling. A key rebounder, Volrath grabs multiple boards and is a strong- put back offensive scorer. She averaged 13.3 points per game for her high school squad last season.
Taneea Henderson | 5’7 G | Sparta
The guard with the highest college potential on this squad is Henderson. Her feel for the game is so impressive and she is super crafty and smooth. With an intense basketball IQ, Henderson stands out for how effectively she distributes the ball. She averaged 3.2 assists per game for her HS squad last season. Her court vision is crazy. While finding her shot effectively, Henderson also creates a game for herself. She averaged nearly 10 points per game for Sparta. A perimeter threat as well, look for Henderson to knock it down from deep.
