About Annie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I drive well and finish well, I make a difference on both sides of the floor. I shoot the ball good and see the floor well.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a next play mentality and when shots aren’t falling I pick it up on defense and focus on how I can get my teammates open.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I participate in FCA and Athlete leadership development at my middle school. I have received the “building the nest” award for 2 years at my middle school for leadership and modeling school values.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership and teamwork qualities as I have grown in basketball and been team captain for 2 years of my middle school team. I have also served on Lighthouse family retreat the past three years as a volunteer, helping families that have gone through or are going through childhood cancer.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve had multiple wrist injuries (cyst removal) and have had to work through the physical and mental recovery process which has helped me be a more driven and focused player.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that will help me grow personally, as an athlete, and set me up for success in my future on and off the court.
