About Brianna

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Competitive combo guard (PG/SG) who can score at different levels, stay calm under ball pressure. Strong ball handler with the ability to shoot, make midrange shots, and attack the basket. Aggressive defender who brings energy, toughness, and effort on every possession. Team first player with a strong work ethic, competitive mindset, and plenty of room to continue growing and improving her game

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a hardworking and determined player with a competitive mindset. I stay composed under pressure, take criticism well, and I am always adjusting and looking for ways to improve my game. I value teamwork, communication, and bringing positive energy to my team.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m involved in the Boston Little Saigon Youth Organization, where I participate in community and youth activities that focus on leadership, teamwork, and supporting the Vietnamese community. Being involved has helped me better understand my culture while building stronger connections with others in my community. It has helped me grow my communication skills, responsibility, and confidence.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through being involved in the Boston Little Saigon Youth Organization and Shooting Touch Boston, I’ve developed leadership, teamwork, communication, and community service skills. Working with students from different schools and communities has helped me become more confident, supportive, and open minded while learning the importance of helping and encouraging others.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I’ve faced is finding myself as a person while learning to take basketball more seriously. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve become more confident in myself and more focused on improving my game. I’ve also started getting noticed more for basketball, which has motivated me to work even harder and push myself to keep growing on and off the court.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with a strong basketball program, a competitive and supportive team culture, and coaches who will help me continue to grow as a player and person. I also want a school with good academics and a positive community where I can challenge myself on and off the court. However, I want to go to college that’s close to home-Boston.
