The home of “Larry Legend”, Mr. Larry Bird, Springs Valley has had a nice run of talent lately in girls’ basketball, and it has been spread across the board, from point guards to wings, and forwards to posts. Gracie is a really nice wing athlete for the Lady Blackhawks, and she was a double-digit scorer this year. She posted 13.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.4 steals per game, plus she was a solid 30% from deep (41-135) and 77% from the free throw line. Next year, she’ll be without two key graduates, so I’ll be curious to see if she’s able to take it up to another level.
