Below are the prospects who showed me they have exactly what it takes to compete at a Prep Girls Hoop showcase this September 2026.

In my notes for this prospect, the word ATTACK is written in all capital letters. Every single time she had an opportunity to drive to the basket, she did so without a second thought. I absolutely love her aggressive mindset. It did not matter if she was on offense or defense; she constantly attacked her opponent. Having that type of dog mentality is something coaches simply cannot teach—you either have it, or you don't.

Reagan also showed great vision by making some awesome assists to her teammates for easy buckets. Defensively, her grit really stood out. She repeatedly dove on the floor for 50/50 balls, winning the vast majority of those hustle plays.

Reagan's relentless attack mentality will serve her well as she continues to play basketball and in life. Her performance proved she is ready for the next level of evaluation by Simmie Colson, a lead evaluator for Prep Girls Hoops, in September 2026.

Harmony is a versatile combo guard who did absolutely everything in her power to lift her team during the tournament. Her impact was felt in every way possible as she scored consistently, rebounded aggressively on both ends of the floor, disrupted passing lanes to force steals, and routinely won the 50/50 balls. Showing true leadership, she even stepped up to run the point position when her teammate needed a breather. Honestly, Harmony is the exact type of ultimate team player any coach would want on their roster because she gives her all to help her team win.

Every program needs a player who values winning over personal stats. Harmony's willingness to sacrifice her body for loose balls and to step into whatever role her team needs her in is an asset to any coach. The Prep Girls Hoops showcase this September will be a prime opportunity for Simmie Colson to assess how her skill set compares to her peers.

After watching her over the course of two games, it is clear she was one of only two pure perimeter shooters in the entire tournament. While she played her best game the second time around by locking in and staying highly active on defense, her absolute superpower remains shooting the three. I always emphasize that anyone watching you play should be able to identify your superpower within the first five to ten minutes of the game. In today's highly competitive basketball environment, possessing a distinct superpower—something you execute at an elite level—is not an option; it is a necessity. Madisyn definitely has hers.

Madisyn's ability to shoot the three is a HUGE advantage for her team. Because elite perimeter shooting translates seamlessly to the next level, her ability to stretch the floor and make defenses honor her shot gives her an advantage over her peers. The Prep Girls Hoops showcase this September will give Simmie Colson a front-row seat to fully evaluate her entire game.

After watching Aubrey play across two games, the word that best describes her is steady. She has tremendous upside, starting with a crucial asset many players lack: legitimate height. Aubrey is a versatile player who can easily stretch the floor to play on the perimeter, knock down the three-pointer, and rebound effectively on both ends of the court. Once she learns to fully use her size to her advantage in the post, look out. She is going to be a major problem for opposing defenses.

Aubrey is a versatile player who can stretch the floor and can rebound on both ends of the court. When she understands how to use her strengths to her advantage and play the game effectively, she will attract interest at the next level. The Prep Girls Hoops evaluations this September 2026 will be the perfect stage for Simmie Colson to analyze her development and for college scouts to see her immense upside firsthand.

Chanelle stayed aggressive from the opening tip to the end of the game. She battled in the paint and maximized her opportunities to get to the rim and score. What makes her particularly dangerous is her extended scoring range; she proved she can stretch the floor by confidently knocking down both mid-range jumpers and three-pointers during the game.

She is an aggressive post player who can also hit perimeter shots. Chanelle's inside-out scoring ability is a major asset to her team. Her performance proved she is highly deserving of a deeper look, making her a must-watch prospect for Simmie Colson at the Prep Girls Hoops evaluations this September.

However, if these players want to know how they stack up against their competition, attending the Prep Girls Hoops showcase (player evaluations this September) is a must. This event offers the players an opportunity to compete against top-tier talent and receive an invaluable, official evaluation directly from Simmie Colson.
