Class of 2028 Shooting Guards Outside Top 100 To Know

The class of 2028 is loaded with talent at the shooting guard position, even so, outside of the top 100 in the Prep Girls Hoops Rankings. Here are five SGs from the class who could find themselves moving up the Prep Girls Hoops Rankings in the near future.    [player_tooltip player_id='900777' first='Neylan' last='Wilcox'] has all the skills to be a top 100 player in the Prep Girls Hoop Rankings.   One of Wilcox's main skills is her perimeter jumper. She does a great job at scoring off of perimeter shots on catch-and-shoot actions. She also does well at moving off the ball and finding spots where the opposing defense has lapses, giving her fairly open 3-pointers on occasion. In a game against Soddy Daisy last season, she made three 3-pointers   Wilcox on offense also does well at running the floor on fastbreaks. She is a fairly efficient scorer in those situations.     [player_tooltip player_id='1859627' first='Emma' last='Pryor'] is a great overall defender.   Pryor at the SG position has great versatility, especially on the defensive end. She has great speed, going into making her a constant steal threat. She also uses the same speed to sprint to the paint for a shot contest or to the perimeter for one. Her shot-blocking skills as an SG were seen in a game against Boyd Buchanan High School last season. She had a close-out block on the perimeter and a chase-down block on a fastbreak.   Pryor also showed her versatility as a player in the same contest. She had eight rebounds in the game.     [player_tooltip player_id='822486' first='Hayes' last='Henderson'] is definitely a player flying under the radar.   Henderson, at 5'10", has a dynamic game. Offensively, she can catch fire behind the arc on any night. She had multiple games in her sophomore season where she made three or more 3-pointers. She has a quick jumper with a high release point; both traits play into her being a lethal shooter. Henderson is also a great rebounder. She had multiple games with 10 or more rebounds.   Henderson is also extremely effective on the defensive end. She can wreck games for opposing teams with her relentless perimeter defense. In a game last season against Centennial High School, she had eight steals.     [player_tooltip player_id='1859005' first='Jenna' last='Latham'] had a more than productive sophomore season at Tennessee High School.   Latham, throughout last season, provided high-level perimeter shooting. She mainly serves as a catch-and-shoot threat. In regard to her jumper, she does a good job at setting her feet, especially when she is on the move prior to shooting. Latham had multiple games last season with two or more made 3-pointers, including a game against Sullivan East High School. In the contest, she made five 3-pointers.   There are also other layers to Latham's offensive game. She has good dribble moves. She can use them to slice into the paint for a mid-range jumper or to kick out a pass to an open teammate.     [player_tooltip player_id='1248869' first='Jayda' last='Madison'] has many winning skills in her game.   Madison, first off, is a great set shooter. She does well on the perimeter in catch-and-shoot actions. Her jumpshot looks the same every time, which definitely plays into her success in shooting from long range. This past season, in a game against Ezell-Harding Christian, she made three 3-pointers.   Madison also has good speed on the dribble. With this, she does a good job at playmaking in transition. In a game against the University School of Nashville last season, she had seven assists.
