The PGH H-Town Havoc single day event gave teams to leave it all on the floor in a few games. Serving as a prequel heading into the action packed month of July, players showed grit and sheer effort in competitive games. The follow players in the 16U division were able to rise above the competition with performances that set them apart.

Patient in the paint, Stanford never looked rushed when she had the ball in her hands. Inside, she used a subtle up and under move to get the defense off balance before getting off the ground for a jump shot. Adding to her patience, her footwork and body control allow her to create quality looks. The same composure she plays with around the paint, she has outside the arc in showcasing a shooter's touch from the perimeter.

Ayers is a big guard with the size and strength to put pressure on the defense. She can create off the bounce in a variety of ways, but what stood out was her ability to make tight, well-timed passes in transition once the defense collapses and find her teammates for target scoring opportunities. Equally impressive, is her floating jumper in the lane which, again, noting her size and strength- the defense has no answer for.

Lefty that can create her own shot. By using the change in speed she's able to create separation to get in the air for a jumper off the bounce without relying on a screen. Generating offense in a seemingly dull scenario makes her dangerous with the ability to go off.

As a smart offensive player, Verron makes well-timed interior cuts that lead to high-percentage shots around the basket. She also understands how to attack the zone defense by delivering sharp diagonal passes that quickly shift the defense and create open shots from the perimeter.

Gametime player. Gil's impact was felt for her team in crucial plays in a comeback win for her team. Turning defense into instant offense, Gil would swoop in for steals. She drew contact from the defense and calmly knocked down critical free throws. She moves well without the ball and appears as a set shooter in transition to knock down perimeter three's.
