1. Greenfield---17 win season ended with a 46-26 loss to Whitnall in the Sectional semifinal. Out of the top 4 teams, from last season, The Hustlin Hawks lost the fewest to graduation losing 2 players and 21 points of production. Leading Greenfield to their first conference title, since 2023, will be a solid core of returning seniors led by 5-9 [player_tooltip player_id='751238' first='Armani' last='Tauschek'] (15.4 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 2.2 apg, 1.9 spg), 5-10 Marija Suha (6.6 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 0.6 apg, 0.8 spg), 5-6 [player_tooltip player_id='895729' first='Jayda' last='Easley'] (5.5 ppg, 2.7 rpg) and 5-6 [player_tooltip player_id='1863902' first='Ava' last='Teschendorf'] (5.1 ppg, 2.2 rpg, 1.3 apg).

2. Whitnall---Whitnall repeated as conference champs running the table for a perfect 14-0 record and a season that ended with a 78-51 loss to Whitefish Bay in the Sectional finals. No Woodland East team was hit as hard by graduation as the Falcons lost almost 40 points of scoring. Top returning players are senior Kylee Sias-Cheney (9.0 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 2.4 apg, 2.8 spg) and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1228245' first='Peyton' last='Beyer'] (4.9 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 0.7 apg, 1.2 spg).

3. Shorewood---Shorewood, winners of five conference games last season, make the biggest jump to this season moving up from 5th to 3rd. Last season ended with a 48-39 loss, to conference rival Milwaukee Lutheran. The Greyhounds return a strong nucleus of leading scorer, 6-1 sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1214637' first='Adeline' last='Nagle'] (12.0 ppg, 10.1 rpg, 0.5 apg, 1.8 spg, 2.4 bpg), juniors Nyah Nelson (5-9, 11.3 ppg, 14.5 rpg, 1.4 apg, 2.0 spg, 1.2 bpg) and Katie Thiel (5-5, 7.0 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 1.0 apg, 1.8 spg).

4. Milwaukee Lutheran---Last season ended in a 71-43 loss to Whitefish Bay in the Regional semifinal. The Red Knights were also hit hard, by graduation, losing four seniors and 30 points of productivity. Dipping one spot, to # 4, Milwaukee Lutheran will need to rely on juniors [player_tooltip player_id='894547' first='Angel' last='Eubanks'] (13.0 ppg), Taniaja Hoover (10.5 ppg), and Gabrielle Brazil (10.0 ppg) to provide veteran leadership this season.

5. South Milwaukee---The Rockets finished in 4th last season with a respectable 8-6 record losing to Greenfield in the Regional semifinal but were also hit hard, by graduation losing 23 points per game. It will be a struggle for them to stay in the top half of the conference however they do bring back seniors Breanna Regan (5-3, 10.3 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 1.2 apg, 2.1 spg) and Alaina Johnson (5-7, 3.8 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 1.5 apg, 1.0 spg).

6. Cudahy---Season ended with a 49-46 loss to Milwaukee Bay View. Cudahy is a team that could surprise in the conference this season and could threaten to finish in the top half of the conference. Losing only about 10 points per game, the Packers return a solid trio in veterans in seniors Alanys Quintero Rigual (5-5, 17.7 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 3.9 apg, 5.3 spg), Chloe Jensen (5-10, 9.0 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 0.7 apg, 1.0 spg, 1.5 bpg) and Haley Steffes (5-10, 6.7 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 1.8 apg, 1.6 spg).

7. Brown Deer---The Falcons finished in 7th last season and that is where I see them again this season. Finished 2026 with a 87-20 loss to Kettle Moraine Lutheran. Return a nice group of veterans with 5-4 sophomore Aaliyah Kornis (8.2 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 1.2 apg, 2.2 spg), 5-4 junior [player_tooltip player_id='1811386' first='Hai'lee' last='Lewis'] (6.3 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 0.9 apg, 3.3 spg) and 5-6 seniors Jalisa Washington (5.5 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 1.0 apg, 1.6 spg) and Jalia Washington (5.3 ppg, 9.1 rpg, 1.2 apg, 1.7 spg).

8. West Allis Central---The Bulldogs, winless in the conference last season, will have a difficult time getting out of the cellar in 2027. Returning senior [player_tooltip player_id='874966' first='Chloe' last='Beal'] (5.4 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 1.2 apg, 1.5 spg) will be key to the Bulldogs getting their first ever Woodland-East victory.
