This was my second weekend in a row watching Dylan DeChant play, and she just continues to impress. At the 518 Showcase, I loved the way DeChant beat defenders off the dribble and attacked the basket. Her use of head fakes and eye movement to shake off defenders when driving the lane was elite. DeChant went to the basket with authority and wasn’t afraid to draw contact. Adding this aspect of her game with her outside shooting ability makes DeChant very difficult to defend. Being only a sophomore, it will be exciting to watch her development over the next three seasons.

I saw Dylan Dechant Dylan Dechant 5'8" | CG Ballston Spa | 2029 NY play for the first time at the “Battle of New York” at Impact Athletic Center. Dechant caught my eye right away and was immediately on my radar. She is an outstanding shooter from beyond the arc with deep range. Dechant squares her feet well and has a smooth, quick release. She is a solid ball-handler with excellent court vision who understands how to find her teammates for easy buckets. Dechant is also a strong defender who creates multiple steals a game. I expect her game to rise to new heights this winter.
