[player_tooltip player_id="158525" first="Sage" last="Kramer"] 2022 6’0” PF NW Stars/Philomath HS - Constantly found herself in favorable positions on the court, whether that was for offensive rebounds or coming up with the steal. She showed her trademark fundamentals in the form of low-post scoring as she isn’t nearly as flashy as she is effective down there. Also showed a willingness to pass the ball to open teammates. Finished with a solid showing with 10 points, 5 rebounds 2 assists, and 2 steals. [player_tooltip player_id="158545" first="Rhyan" last="Mogel"] 2023 5’10” SF NW Stars/Clackamas HS - Rhyan was active for the Stars and early on, as she had an and-one to start the game off and didn’t put her foot off the gas. She showed her skills to get to the basket as an aggressive slasher but also showed her ability to hang and absorb contact to finish the lay-in. Defensively, she was engaged as ever as she was a part of the Stars’ defensive thwarts as she was her the focal point of the press. Finished with 17 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. [player_tooltip player_id="158542" first="Kennedie" last="Shuler"] 2023 5’9” PG NW Stars/Barlow HS - Kennedie took turns guarding ABA’s prolific scorer, [player_tooltip player_id="158514" first="Cali" last="Denson"], in a full fledged defensive stance the entire game and used her elusive speed to make it difficult for her all game long. When she wasn’t engaged defensively, she was picking up defensive rebounds and pushing the tempo as always. She picked up some steals and put in some lay-ups but this was an MVP performance on defense for Shuler. Had 5 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals. Mia Skoro 2023 5’8” SG NW Stars/La Salle HS - She provided additional stability at the guard spot as a team oriented ball player who knows when it is her turn to score for her team. Had three nice and aggressive drives into the paint where she showcased the ability to score off both feet. Defensively, she shows a lot of good discipline and willingness to play team defense and was absolutely bought into the program. Contributed 5 points, 1 rebound, and 1 steal for the Stars. [player_tooltip player_id="158517" first="Halle" last="Hageman"] 2022 5’6” PG NW Stars/ Mountainside HS - Hageman provided another layer of energy in short, powerful spurts for the Stars in the form of a guard who always happens to be near the rebound. From there her control of the game is incredibly fluid in her transition game and she was an incredible facilitator all game long. Finished with 4 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists in a nice all out display. Carley Robb 2021 5’8” SG NW Stars/West Albany HS - The proclaimed shooter knocked one down early in the game, but it was rather her efforts on the defensive boards that were most valuable. She showed the ability to play tight on her assignment and make the right rotations, showing her defensive IQ. Although she wasn’t as accurate as she usually is, all her shots looked clean and were never forced or rushed. [player_tooltip player_id="158553" first="Allie" last="Mead"] 2023 5’5” PG NW Stars/Canby HS - Allie was one of the designated defenders on Cali, especially early game where she chased her ravenously throughout the half court setting. Mead has great lateral speed and moves her feet quickly and is a fundamental sound defender. Offensively, it wasn’t her best shooting performance but her assets to the game were far more than what the box score showed. Contributed 2 assists and 3 steals in a commanding defensive effort. [player_tooltip player_id="158514" first="Cali" last="Denson"] 2022 5’7” PG ABA/Milwaukie HS - The prolific scorer didn’t have one of her trademark performances, however, she was still able to display the reason why she has become something of a household name as a ball dominant, shifty, shooting guard with a quick and smooth stroke. She had 9 points in the contest, connecting on two threes that she pulled with good mechanics and quick shooting motions. She shot at a good mark, but was slowed down by three of the Stars’ more athletic and disciplined defenders. Mandy Sisul 2022 5’10” SG ABA/La Salle HS - Mandy is a defensive oriented player who takes command on defensive schemes as a disciplined and structured player who does the small things for her team. Offensively, she has a nice jab step that she employs aggressively and makes sharp cuts and angles to the basket and finishes with her momentum going to the basket. Overall team player that is a double edged sword offensively and defensively. [player_tooltip player_id="158496" first="Olivia" last="Sprague"] 2021 5’8” SG ABA/Clatskanie HS - Olivia is incredibly fluid and dynamic in her approach to the game as a guard who always seemingly happens to be in the right spot at the right time. She makes the right plays, as she is most dangerous in transition where she slows a good change in speed after the ball is in her hands, either dishing the ball off or finishing at the rim. The Oregon Tech commit is used to playing within several different roles, as she helped Clatskanie win a 3A State Title.
