The Expo was in the books, and we saw a talented crop of players who headed into Appleton through the fog to play basketball on Sunday. Over the next week or so, we will look at the high school players and highlight what they brought to the floor during the 5v5 portion of the event. We had over 80 players at the Expo, and we will highlight what each did to stand out in their minutes. Let's talk about Team Four.

Maser is a rangy guard who isn't the most physically imposing player on the floor, but she can make things happen on both ends. The Laconia guard is an athletic kid with some length, which can help her become an impactful defender. I also thought she did well in an off-ball role and shot the ball well from the perimeter in Appleton. She's a young player with room to grow over the next few years.

The Hudson native played JV basketball last season for Hudson and was coming off a knee injury before she got to high school. Noe has the poise you want in a lead guard and doesn't seem like she's sped up. I also liked her willingness to try and fit passes into small windows, and in an environment where that won't be as rewarded, she kept doing it. I liked her willingness to make plays for others when she could've hunted her own shot all afternoon.

Boyer is a physical wing/forward who can add versatility to a defense. She can defend on the perimeter and use her size to hold her own around the basket. Boyer has the physical tools to switch defensively seamlessly. I also liked how comfortable she was playing through contact on both ends. She can help her team win on the margins and be a valuable part of her team's rotation.

The Oostburg native was a part of the D3 State Championship Lady Dutch team last season and played against talented players every day last season. Flores has the length to be an intriguing defensive prospect. The 5-11 rising sophomore is a solid athlete who can make plays on the ball defensively and be a versatile defender. She's far from a finished prospect and could be a player who will be one to keep an eye on over the next few seasons. She could become a player to know in the near future.
