<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Team Carolina ladies shined in their game against the Carolina Lady Rising Stars.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Here are some of the ladies that stood out in this competition.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b><img class="size-medium wp-image-193635 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/08/Torin-Rogers-copy-225x300.jpg" alt="" width="225" height="300" />[player_tooltip player_id="116894" first="Torin" last="Rogers"]</b> led both teams in scoring with 16 points.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She was a dynamic player who could easily grab rebounds for her team, especially on offense where she was putting it back up for her own score.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She would create steals that led to fast breaks where she knew when to pass the ball to her teammate or take it all the way herself.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She has some great height on her that she knows how to use well.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b>Emma Smith</b> added 13 points for her team showing some dynamic moves.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She was very patient with the ball knowing when would be best to make her move.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>It seemed as if she would just have to make one move to get by her opponents, and she could then pull up to show off her jump shot.</span></p>

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">A young athlete who added three three-pointers for her team was <b>Gracie Glance</b>.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Her shot was certainly pretty to watch.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She also showed her ability to drive and draw the opponents toward her in order to open up her teammate for the basket.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="116889" first="Nahndi" last="Smith"]</b> had 8 points and <b>Sarah Pulliam</b> had 7 points.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Smith was very fun to watch showing off her shot behind the arc.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Her speed was on full display playing the bottom of the 1-3-1 defense where she ran from corner to corner in a split second with ease making those supposedly open corner areas in the defense impossible to take advantage of. <span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Pulliam was also quick moving up and down the court.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She created steals that turned into fast break points.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She easily created space between her and her defenders.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The Carolina Lady Rising Stars also had some shining athletes.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><b>Lariyah Clark </b>had 9 points and <b>Nakyla Heaggans </b>had 6 points.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Clark was aggressive with the ball and created space for herself to grab a rebound.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She also was quick after getting the rebound pushing the ball up the court.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Heaggans was dominant inside knowing the right move to make against her opponent and not being scared to go up for the rebound against strong opponents.</span></p>
