Aubree is a small lead guard with handles, a three ball, and the willingness to challenge length in the paint. She does not let bigger defenders keep her from getting downhill. Her willingness to get into the heart of the defense is a vital piece to her game and paired with her perimeter shot gives the defense options that they must account for when the ball is in her hands as she can threaten outside and put the rock on the floor to generate paint touches. For Aubree because of her size right now, the next layer is choosing the right answer once help arrives. Attacking size takes confidence; consistently beating it takes good decisions. Knowing when to finish, stop for an available shot, or deliver the next pass will help Aubree turn her aggressive mindset into better possessions. Her ball skill and willingness to compete give her something to build around.
