Team Previews: ACGC, ADM, AGWSR

&nbsp; <hr /> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>ACGC Chargers</strong> 11-11 last year 51.7 points scored, 50.0 points against 9 returning players</p> After an 11-11 season and a heartbreaking loss in the Class 2A - Region 2 quarterfinal to Panorama, ACGC returns nine players to the court this year that saw varsity time. They will be returning a core of players who have shown that they are able to play at a high level. Despite losing three seniors ACGC should be an improved team this upcoming season. Senior <strong>Alaina Bunde</strong> returns as the leading scorer after scoring 9.9 points a game last year. Juniors <strong>EmmaKay McClain</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="165044" first="Kylie" last="Young"]</strong> also return after averaging 9.6 and 9.0 points each, respectively. They didn’t shoot the ball last year badly, connecting on 37.8 percent of their shots, and improving that to near 40 percent will go a long way in helping them reach 15 wins. ACGC has some talent on their roster and they return their top players. The Tigers will need to replace three key starters, but with returning players <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="131207" first="Grace" last="Hardcastle"]</strong> and <strong>Aniston Smith</strong> back, the experience is present. Hardcastle knocked down 22 three-pointers and scored 10 points a game, while Aniston added 5.5 and recorded 32 steals. ADM also has sophomore <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="63069" first="Nicole" last="Storck"]</strong>, who started 19 games and posted 5.4 points and almost five rebounds a night. <strong>Julia Case</strong>, <strong>Olivia Tollari</strong>, <strong>Paige Grasty</strong>, <strong>Taylor Caitrider</strong> and <strong>Kirsten Kilker</strong> all saw time on the court as well. Leading the way is senior <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="165018" first="Alyssa" last="Hames"]</strong>, who averaged over 14 points a night last year and almost seven rebounds. Hames shot over 41 percent from the field and 31 percent from the three-point line.
