[player_tooltip player_id="158489" first="Truitt" last="Reilly"] 2021 6’0" PF NW Stars/Silverton HS - Truitt had a masterful performance in the post as a gritty defender who isn’t afraid of mixing it in up in the middle. Physical yet agile as she can truly defend all five positions on the court. Offensively, she displays a throwback post game in which she patiently backs down the defender and likes to rotate over her right shoulder and finish. Overall team oriented player who makes others around her better. Contributed 6 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks. [player_tooltip player_id="158545" first="Rhyan" last="Mogel"] 2023 5’9" SF NW Stars/Clackamas HS - Rhyan anchored the Stars on the frontcourt as an active, physically engaged guard who has an aptitude for getting in the paint and most importantly, finishing. Her energy on defense is contagious as she shows a lot of initiative through her sheer effort alone. She led the Stars in scoring, with 18 points to go with 4 rebounds and 2 steals in a full fledged display of consistency. Mia Skoro 2022 5’8" SG NW Stars/La Salle HS - Mia is a heavily engaged guard that makes it her job to assert herself and others and it starts on the defensive end where she is fully activated as an on-ball defender. She is also an excellent team player who can play in the scheme and knows how to move the ball to get the offense going. Had 4 points in which she scored off a beautiful floater and a lay-in, showing her versatility. [player_tooltip player_id="158542" first="Kennedie" last="Shuler"] 2023 5’9" PG NW Stars/Barlow HS - Kennedie took turns guarding [player_tooltip player_id="158481" first="Taylin" last="Smith"], the quick point guard who is both elusive and dynamic. Shuler’s fast lateral movement and burst speed helped her out as she helped put a clamp on Smith defensively. She also had some great sequences where she got a hold of the ball and made some great passes to teammates in scoring position. Contributed 6 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals. [player_tooltip player_id="158553" first="Allie" last="Mead"] 2023 5’5" PG NW Stars/Canby HS - Allie helped take turns taking on Taylin, in addition to that did some of more blue collar work in grabbing ahold of the rebound and pushing the tempo for the Stars. Her bread and butter is the overall quickness and assertiveness she plays with when the ball is in her hands, which helps activate the Stars on offense. [player_tooltip player_id="158517" first="Halle" last="Hageman"] 2022 5’6’ PG NW Stars/Mountainside HS - Halle provided a mark of consistency against NW Greyhounds when they most needed it, as she scored 10 points to go along with 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 block. Hageman is a skilled scorer who has a nice floater, can score from mid-range or deep. She is also a guard who pushes the tempo and has a means of finding her teammates. Spirited defender who helps her team on this frontier. Jazzy Davidson 2025 6’1" SF NW Stars - Jazzy played some sensational defense in stretches against Legion, in which she used her length and skill to her advantage. She contributed 4 points, 2 assists, 2 blocks, and 3 steals as an all around defender who made it difficult for her opposition in the paint and on the perimeter. She is quick enough to keep up with the guards and has the size to deal with forwards in the paint. [player_tooltip player_id="158481" first="Taylin" last="Smith"] 2021 5’5" PG Upper Left Legion/Liberty HS - Taylin had a masterful offensive game, as her slippery handle combined with her ability to stop on a dime and shoot was difficult to handle for her opposition. She hit two three’s to close the first half and give her team momentum going into the second half. Against the Stars, she scored a game high 21 points, shooting lights out from deep as she sank five three-pointers, including one within the final minutes to help seal their victory. [player_tooltip player_id="158513" first="Abby" last="Graham"] 2022 5’10" SG Upper Left Legion/St Mary’s Academy - Abby had a solid game by any definition against NW Greyhounds, as she registered 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. She showed her ability to score in a multitude of ways, from deep and within the paint. But her most impressive feats on the day was her unselfish ability to thread the needle and find players in scoring position even when it looked like she had an easy lane. She is also a vocal leader who ignites her team through example.
