Naruko is the catalyst that will drive the team. Her presence alone on the floor changes the game’s flow. Plays extremely poised, with a high-level IQ that separates her from my guards this weekend. Her games flow; her style of pace, in and out of tempo, transitioning from a downhill get to the basket guard to an my team needs a flurry of points to stay in to pass me the ball; I got it mentality. Yes, she showed great leadership by being vocal, leading by example, and making big plays to keep her team in the game. During timeouts, you saw her lead the huddle, and her cast responded. The team was on several runs, and she was the engine that made it happen. From behind the arc is where you saw her truest ablity, being able to make contested shots, shoots that we deep into the wnba range. When opposing teams attacked her shot, she could put the ball on the floor and make plays.
