Allie Hueckman 2021 5’10” SG Oregon Elite Gold/Burns HS - Allie is something of a hidden treasure, playing for a humble program in that of 3A Burns HS, but nothing is humble about her game. Against Spokane Legacy Red, she hit three from deep in a row, showcasing her incredible shooting capabilities as she turned in a 19 point, 4 rebound effort. For Oregon Elite 17U Gold, she is a bucket getter where teammates simply have to give her the ball and she will return with points. The only question is whether it will be worth two or three points. [player_tooltip player_id="158483" first="Kaili" last="Chamberlin"] 2021 5’9” South Medford - Kaili is another player who can score all around the floor, but has an uncanny ability to push the tempo upon grabbing the rebound. She is an agile rebounder thanks to her size, which she also uses to make crafty plays inside the paint. Finishes on either leg using either hand from either end of the basket. Smooth shooter who lets it go with short notice. Had 21 and 17 point performances this week, leading South Medford in scoring. [player_tooltip player_id="158473" first="Aaronette" last="Vonleh"] 2021 6’3” C Cal Stars/West Linn HS - Nothing can be said about Aaronette that is novel or groundbreaking, but it is that sheer fact that makes her performance that striking. She is a brilliant dose of consistency, as the Arizona product is nearly impossible to stop once she commands her space in the post. She had a 9 point, 11 rebound effort against Oregon Elite 17U Gold and then 8 points against three tough defenders versus Oregon Elite 17U Navy. [player_tooltip player_id="158478" first="Natalie" last="Lathrop"] 2021 6’3” Oregon Elite Navy/Tualatin HS - Natalie saved the biggest performance of her summer against one of the powerhouse teams on the West Coast, in that of Cal Stars 17U Red. She was one of three defenders that clogged the paint, but made a huge impact on both ends of the floor. Lathrop used her tremendous wingspan defensively, altering and blocking shots and picking up rebounds. She showed quite a bit of offensive versatility, on her way to 7 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Reese Ericson 2021 5’6” PG Oregon Elite Gold/Lakeridge HS - Reese was a catalyst all week long for her team, as she has an uncanny ability to find teammates in scoring position - throwing them crosscourt with precision and style. She can also find ways to score herself, free deep or with crafty accuracy in the paint. Her presentation of 2 points, 2 rebounds, 8 assists, and 2 steals in Oregon Elite Gold’s victory Day 1 was a stamp of her all around game - one that is dipped and sealed in consistency. [player_tooltip player_id="158488" first="Liv" last="Knapp"] 2021 5’6” SG Oregon Triple/Liberty HS - Liv is the prolific outside shooter who makes it look easy, as she has an excellent shot selection and doesn’t need a wide range of moves to get open. She has deadly accuracy from deep and has a refined mid-range game to her. Above average facilitator who can get other players open based on her scoring tendencies. Had 11 points in the first half versus Team Lavine for a total of 14 points, including three from deep. Jayd Sollinger 2021 5’10” SG Oregon Elite White/Ashland HS - Jayd is a skilled perimeter player who can get her team a basket when they need it. She had a great 18 point, 9 rebound performance on the first day in which she was great inside/out for Oregon Elite and was a great rebounder due to her sheer size. Jayd was a game change at times for her team and provided a consistent piece. Sollinger has upside as a scorer for her team and showed why last week in Pocatello. Honorable Mention: [player_tooltip player_id="158504" first="Emma" last="Schmerbach"] 5’9 SG South Medford - To say that Emma plays with a high motor would be an understatement. The cross country star for the Panthers is receiving Division 1 interest on that end, but on that hardwood she is an everlasting wing that plays every corner of the floor, as an energetic defender and a witty offensive player. She can rebound and has a nose to find the rim with good angles. Her 8 point, 5 rebound performance was a great indication of her traits. Keira McNamee 2021 5’7” SG Oregon Elite White/Wilsonville HS - Keira is very much a glue type of player for Oregon Elite White, she has a selfless game to her in which she finds others around her and doesn’t hesitate to flick the ball in that direction. The Wilsonville native can also score herself from the perimeter as well as inside the paint. Does everything that her team needs of her in every given situation. Such efforts describe her 4 points, 2 rebound, 5 assist game versus Salt Lake Metro Gold.
