Ella Harper Ella Harper SG/PG Vanguard College Prep | 2029 TX is an evolving perimeter scorer who showed her off-season development on the court during the scrimmage.  At the high school level, basketball often centers on winning games, and rightly so, but it is always refreshing to write about student-athletes who put in the hard work during the off-season and are starting to show real growth by expanding their offensive game.

During the scrimmage, she showed a noticeable jump in aggressiveness, driving to the basket with confidence and clearly improving on last year. Along with taking it strong to the rack, she proved she can make midrange shots, nailing a pair of long, 2-point jumpers. Her ability to score consistently at multiple levels this season will be the difference in Vanguard’s win/loss column this season.
