Two seniors are gone, but that means the bulk of the roster returns for Clarion-Goldfield/Dows. The Cowgirls rode a run to the state volleyball semifinals in the fall to 17 wins on the hardwood. Senior [player_tooltip player_id="131258" first="Raven" last="Kinnetz"] returns after scoring a team-high 347 points. Kinnetz shot 41 percent from the field and knocked down 29 three-pointers, adding 104 rebounds, 90 steals and 50 assists. Morgan Middleton, a Div. I volleyball recruit, added 209 points with 149 rebounds and 15 blocks. Jadyn Jondle, also a Div. I volleyball recruit, Kendall Lienemann and a handful of others return.

All 12 players who saw the court a year ago for Clarke return including six seniors. Tori White and Kaitlyn Halsband were the top scorers and rebounders. White had 209 points, 118 rebounds, 22 assists, 20 steals and 17 blocks, knocking in a team-high 28 three-pointers. Halsband had 198 points with 142 rebounds, 17 assists and 10 steals. Fellow seniors Kiaya Dunbar, Nicole Barnard, Kaity Donaldson and Hailee Fry are also back.

Know how you win 20 games? Hold a 29-point margin of victory. That is exactly what Clarksville did last year, going 20-4 before falling to Saint Ansgar in a thriller in regionals. The Indians, though, need to replace five key senior starters. Katie Stirling started a handful of games, scoring 84 points with 42 rebounds, 33 steals, 18 assists and eight blocks. Cailyn Hardy, Jenna Myers, Makenzie Bloker, Sierra Vance, Rachel Borchardt and Morgan Jacobs all saw plenty of time and will be counted on for production on both ends of the court.
