Top Shooters in Somerset County

Somerset County is an area that has elite talent on the basketball court. Players can score from all over the floor but the three-point shooting is next level. Here are the top shooters returning in 2020-2021. <strong>Kaylie Favours (2021) | Rutgers Prep</strong> Rutgers Prep has one of the top players in the state in [player_tooltip player_id="134611" first="Christina" last="Dalce"]. Favours was. A nice compliment on the perimeter last season. She knocked down 47 three’s to lead the team. Those numbers are expected to rise as a senior. She has a quick release and knows how to get a shot off over larger defenders. <strong>Andrea Katramados (2021) | Montgomery</strong> Katramados is the leading returning scorer for Montgomery. She led the team in made three’s with 36 last season. Montgomery will feature Katramados often next season because of her reliability and ability to make the correct decision. She has a high IQ with the ball in her hands. <strong>Julia Pinckert (2022) | Immaculata</strong> Pinckert made a huge leap as a sophomore and is expected to make another leap as a junior. She was an elite shooter who knows how to move around the perimeter and find an open spot on the floor. Pinckert will have an extended role during her years as an upperclassman. <strong>Amy Rachilla (2023) | Hillsborough</strong> Rachilla did not have an extended role as a freshman but that is going to change in 2020. She showed an ability to score at all three levels and she thrived from beyond the arc. Franklin is losing some key players from last year’s team which means Gamble is going to be given an extended role. She is a shifty guard who can handle the ball in the open floor.
