The next 5 players were unknown to me with the exception of one that just left me speechless the first time I saw her play years ago in middle school. This is why I emphasize again, placing yourself in a position to be seen because at the EXPOSURE events, with so many talented players, you have a WINDOW to show what you can do and since I move around from court to court, sometimes that window may be foggy so always bring your A-game, no matter what the score is, whether you’re up, or down 20 or more because you never IF someone is watching so again, here are some EVENTS I suggest you consider and always remember that I’ve simplified everything for you on the dropdowns, from contact info to where I’ll be but here’s the next 5 [player_tooltip player_id="200735" first="Lily" last="Guevara"]-5’10 SG (Hays HS) Guevara falls into the "Austin Elite surprises me again" list of players I knew nothing about but it didn’t take me long to catch up. She showed out when her club team scrimmage the Lady Thunder in College Station yet what she did at the Alamo City Hoops Elite Girls Combine was just breathtaking as she was virtually unstoppable creating her shot under pressure, mid to long, or attacking the basket and throw in that impressive wingspan she used over and over to play the passing lane, that too led to baskets but her passing as well as her ballhandling, again under pressure, was solid [player_tooltip player_id="200736" first="Arieona" last="Rosborough"]-5’8 SG (SW Christian HS) Rosborough has always shown she could create her shot and elevate over defenders with a solid jumper. She did it in middle school, she did it as a freshman at Mansfield Lakeridge and she continued to do it for her dad’s Team Takeover club team however I missed her for the past two seasons, she and her twin, Arielle, joined her dad who was the head coach at SW Christian and won a state championship yet what she did at Pass Tha Ball’s Select 40 got her on this list because she arrived late, missed the skills and drills yet she must have been dribbling on the highway because she came in the gym on fire dropping the long ball, the mid, whatever [player_tooltip player_id="200737" first="Lashiya" last="Fowler"]-5’9 G (Pflugerville Connally HS) Fowler has always been a player that dazzled me with her quickness and athleticism not to mention her defense but at the Alamo City Hoops Elite Girls Combine, she took it up to another level as that defense included playing the passing lane as well as showing a drop step but hold on, yet another level was shown on her AD Elite club squad as she still showed me that exceptional first step to blow by defenders but her mid to long-range game as well as ballhandling stayed consistent but on top of all that, she plays with passion, she’s smart and truly understands how to get hers in the flow [player_tooltip player_id="200738" first="Nekayla" last="Williams"]-6’0 PF (Richardson HS) Williams was impressive with Team Takeover at Prime Time Nationals that I was wondering how I missed her with her EYBL squad, then I remembered I didn’t have a roster so I kept it moving. Well, she definitely keeps it moving because as impressive as I was with her at PTN, she was overly impressed with the DFW EYBL squad a few weeks ago. She’s powerful in the paint, finishes with defenders hanging on her, I have pictures, yet graceful enough to defend outside the paint and hit the midrange. I go back to PTN when she simply took games over from the defensive end, that’s not easy as she truly gave me some highlights to remember [player_tooltip player_id="201139" first="Aaliyah" last="McMillan"]-5’7 SG (Cibolo Steele HS) McMillan put on a long ball exhibition at one of the top HS events a couple of years ago, the McDonald’s Texas Invitational but after an injury, I hadn’t seen her in over a year but after stopping her three times at She’s Ballin The Blueprint and asking her what her name was three times, she said how many times are you going to ask me my name and I told her until you say "shooter" because that’s what she is, that’s what she does and that’s what she did also shooting herself onto this list so I’m expecting a huge senior year from this talented young lady as her team has a legitimate shot at making a run
