Eriny Kindred Eriny Kindred 6'0" | SF Del Valle | 2021 State TX -6’1 F (Del Valle HS) MP Elite
Kindred makes the biggest jump from 52 to 12 not because she committed to Texas A&M but because she showed she could actually play there and after seeing her basically go from a long and athletic defensive player in middle school to what she has become, a legitimate scorer off the dribble and mid to long-range, this young lady has just put in the work to show she is legit. She always played the passing lane well, she can handle it after the steal and is a nightmare to defend in the open court. The Aggie plug is due to my daughter winning a National Championship there
Kierra Sanderlin Kierra Sanderlin 5'8" | PG Judson | 2021 State #89 Nation TX -5’7 G (Judson HS) SA Finest
Sanderlin made just under a double-digit jump from 23 to 14 yet she may wind up making it into the Top 10 on my next update for a number of reasons and one id “you will not outwork her” and her “will to win” which she has shown on her high school squad as well as numerous times on her club team but that’s her mindset, she even does it at Individual Showcases and Combines, you can’t teach some of what she brings to the table and when you add that she outrebounds and finishes on players much taller…
Amani Bartlett Amani Bartlett 6'1" | PF Houston Christian | 2021 State #88 Nation TX -6’1 PF (Houston Christian) Cy Fair Elite
Bartlett makes a double-digit jump to 22 from 34 and she’s taking the show on the road to Syracuse after graduation. I spoke about shooting the midrange at a camp I attended and she has done that well since I started watching her but her sheer power in the paint to go along with her finesse has always impressed me yet what overly impresses me is her “comeback” after a knee injury because as good as she was, she committed to Tennessee as an 8th grader, she has elevated her game in so many aspects
Amaria Fields Amaria Fields 6'1" | SG McKinney North | 2021 State TX -5’11 G (McKinney North HS) Texas U
Fields also is making a comeback and based on what I saw during the club season, Boston College will have themselves a solid addition but when I talked to her during a Holiday tournament, I was so impressed with her basketball IQ and just breaking the action down so seeing her break players down off the dribble after returning from a knee injury was pleasing because she worked so hard for this and she not only wants it, she shows it so the mid to long-range, the rebounding, defense and playing the passing lane will go east as she moves up 5 to 33
Asjha Leake Asjha Leake 6'0" | PF Steele | 2021 State TX -6’2 PF (Steele HS) SA Finest
Leake doesn’t crack a smile on the court, she’s all business and has always been a force in the paint as far as rebounding on both ends because she came into high school with a college-ready body but she put in the work and began finishing, then adding “with contact” but she’s vocal, she runs the floor after igniting the break with an outlet and watching her facing the basket all season told me she needed to be elevated but one play, she was on the wing and took the defender off the dribble and finished with her left for an and-one had me “drop the book” as she jumps 20 spots to 45
