In what was an unprecedented summer, things were a little aloof until the AAU games got going as they haven’t quite stopped yet. The first slate of games featuring Oregon players were the Cal Stars first stop at the Nike TOC Iowa, where [player_tooltip player_id="158475" first="Audrey" last="Roden"] exploded on the scene, averaging 20.5 points in their first two games in an excellent shooting display. Oregon Elite soon began play, as the Oregon team was the perfect platform for players to showcase their talents. [player_tooltip player_id="204574" first="Allie" last="Hueckman"] showed grassroots hoops her hidden offensive repertoire in her eye-popping ability to score. [player_tooltip player_id="158506" first="Ana" last="McClave"] showed that her skills at Crescent Valley certainly cross-over at all levels, as the sharpshooter has shown that she can also be a facilitate and sufficient defender. [player_tooltip player_id="204580" first="Jayd" last="Sollinger"] from Ashland is another gem from the Oregon elite organization in the from of a tall guard with mid-range skill and rebounding prowess. [player_tooltip player_id="158483" first="Kaili" last="Chamberlin"] looks to be in rare form, as she moves and scores with the ease of a seasoned veteran player. Here are the biggest stockrisers of 2021. [player_tooltip player_id="158475" first="Audrey" last="Roden"] 2021 5’9" SG Cal Stars/West Linn HS - Roden had just as a successful summer as you could have, playing on the biggest stage in that of Nike EYBL Cal Stars 17U and had huge moments in some national level tournaments. She was their leading scorer in their first two tournaments in Iowa averaging around 12 points amongst a huge pool of talent of Division 1 players in that of the Cal Stars. Roden has shown the ability to make perimeter shots down the stretch, score in transition, and is an absolute pest on defense. [player_tooltip player_id="204574" first="Allie" last="Hueckman"] 2021 5’10" SG Oregon Elite/Burns HS - Hueckman was one of the more unknown prospects and a hidden gem at the 3A level for Burns HS, but she was on everyone’s radar by the end of the summer’s end. Allie had several games where she put Oregon Elite 17U Gold on her back, including the Bronze Championship of the 2021 Aqua pool of Run 4 The Roses where she scored 17 points. The Eastern Washington signee is a prolific high jumper who soared 5-6 as a freshman - she showcases her leaping abilities on her jump shot where she raises up over her defenders. [player_tooltip player_id="158483" first="Kaili" last="Chamberlin"] 2021 5’9" SF South Medford HS - While playing for South Medford and having an older sister playing Division 1 would certainly be a question mark for a stock riser, Kaili certainly solidified her status as a top player in the State and consolidated her case and statement. Kaili is such an exceptional scorer who does it with a lot of ease and efficiency - she scores points on demand whenever she feels the need or when her team needs it. A true three-level scorer and can get points in her sleep. [player_tooltip player_id="158506" first="Ana" last="McClave"] 2021 5’10" SG Oregon Elite/Crescent Valley HS - Ana was a producer for Crescent Valley at the 5A level, averaging 14.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4.5 steals as the guard showed that she can fill up the stat sheet. A narrative for players is whether they can continue such efforts playing on a bigger stage and McClave answered the question with a resounding yes. A talented shooter who also can impact the game as a defender, rebounder, and facilitator, showed that she can play with the big dogs. [player_tooltip player_id="204580" first="Jayd" last="Sollinger"] 2021 5’10" SG Oregon Elite/Ashland HS - Playing for a relatively unknown high school team in that of Ashland, Sollinger was able to play on a great platform in that of Oregon Elite 17U White and was able to showcase her skills she brings to the table. At 5’10”, she is a skilled perimeter scorer who is both skilled and self-sufficient in her trade in scoring at the mid-range level. She is also a serviceable rebounder for her team who has skills that will produce at the next level.
