Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Top 250 Preview: Point Guards

Every championship team needs a floor general, so college coaches and scouts are always on the look out. We are searching for that difference maker at the point guard position. Let’s look at a few of the talented lead guards that will be at the Prep Hoops Michigan Top 250 Expo on Sunday. Her potential as a high level floor general is really intriguing. College coaches will want to see how she stacks up at the Top 250. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="138354" first="Olivia" last="Kubik"] (2021, PG, Henry Ford II)</strong> Kubik is a grinder and a workhorse. College coaches will love the energy and effort she brings to the floor. Kubik will do all the little things and will find a role and way to contribute in every game on Sunday in Grand Rapids. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147743" first="Maeve" last="St. John"] (2022, PG, Howell)</strong> St. John will be a must watch prospect at the Top 250. She has good straight line speed and footwork on the perimeter. St. John is a creative lead guard that can make plays and create for her team. She’s a solid ball handler that keeps her turnovers to a minimum. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147727" first="Nevaeh" last="Williams"] (2022, PG, Mt. Clemens)</strong> Williams is an explosive perimeter player. She likes to get out in transition and make plays. Williams is an excellent finisher on the break. She can flat out put up points in a hurry. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="28016" first="Kayiona" last="Willis"] (2021, PG, Southfield A &amp; T)</strong> Willis is a quick and athletic point guard with a nice upside. She can play the game at any pace and is always looking for open or cutting teammates. Willis will turn heads at the Top 250 on Sunday.
