When looking atop the 2022 rankings, one will notice that there is variety all across the State of Oregon as there are talented players all across the board. From South Medford to Portland, the 2022 class has a great display of talented players with unique games and backgrounds. As far as stockrisers, [player_tooltip player_id="158520" first="Sierra" last="Logue"] continued to develop her game, which is based around her 6’3” frame and immense wingspan and it certainly showed with her South Medford program. [player_tooltip player_id="158525" first="Sage" last="Kramer"] proved that her throwback approach and determination certainly expand outside of Philomath. [player_tooltip player_id="207817" first="Reese" last="Ericson"] was a key cog of her Oregon Elite Gold team who was a steadfast floor general throughout the summer. [player_tooltip player_id="207821" first="Gracie" last="Arnold"] from Cottage Grove was another part of that team and developed into a consistent forward with skills on both ends. [player_tooltip player_id="207826" first="Audrey" last="Kehoe"] of NW Stars showed that she can mix it up in the paint as a scorer and rebounder. [player_tooltip player_id="158520" first="Sierra" last="Logue"] 2022 6’3" C South Medford HS - How can a 6’3” post playing on arguably the best team in the State be amongst the stockrisers in the class? By adding to her post game, showing agileness as a forward, and providing as an elite rim protector. The biggest addition to Logue’s game is her post game, as she isn’t afraid of contact and is incredibly efficient when the ball is in her hands. She continues to stifle defenders, blocking everything in sight and runs the floor exceptionally well at 6’3”. [player_tooltip player_id="158525" first="Sage" last="Kramer"] 2022 6’0" SF NW Stars/Philomath HS - Sage before the summer was more of a regional commodity in Philomath - a region not known on a State-wide measure - it didn’t help either that 19-1 Philomath wasn’t able to chase the 4A State Title. However, after a productive summer with the NW Stars, Sage has been able to show that she can compete on the biggest stage and with huge results. The efficient forward can tussle with them all, as she is a two way player that is impactful. [player_tooltip player_id="207817" first="Reese" last="Ericson"] 2022 5’5" PG Oregon Elite/Lakeridge HS - Reese played on a Lakeridge team who stressed ball movement and team unity as the leading scorer averaged 9.7 points per game, so her facilitation and court savvy skills were a little under the radar. After a significant summer running with Oregon Elite Gold, she has shown that her skills as a passer are off the charts as she also brings leadership on the defensive end and can score when she needs to. [player_tooltip player_id="207821" first="Gracie" last="Arnold"] 2022 6’1" PF Oregon Elite/Cottage Grove HS - Gracie was a hidden gem in Cottage Grove at the 4A level, however, she has shown that being a 6’1” forward with a blue collar approach in the post is still incredibly valuable at all levels of the game. Arnold played alongside [player_tooltip player_id="158524" first="Lindsey" last="Wilson"] for Oregon Elite Gold, as she provided a rugged demeanor in the paint, particularly as a one-person wrecking crew defensively. She brings a lot of discipline and size as a defender and can also score in stride. [player_tooltip player_id="207826" first="Audrey" last="Kehoe"] 2022 5’11" SF NW Stars/West Linn HS - Kehoe plays for the West Linn Lions, one of the State’s powerhouses featuring none other than Arizona commit [player_tooltip player_id="158473" first="Aaronette" last="Vonleh"]. Practicing regularly against some of that caliber has shown to be effective, as when playing with NW Stars White this summer, she showed grit throughout the experience. Kehoe is fluid in the paint as a scorer and rebounds well with the combination of skill and length. She has upside on both ends as an athletic forward.
