2021 Class All-Kansas City Area Preseason 2nd Team

As we head towards the start of basketball tryouts for many here in Missouri on November 2nd,  we wanted to put together our preseason teams by graduating class but regardless of what high school class they play in, from class 1 to class 5. This group of players are the best of the best in the KC metro area and will be super fun to watch as they compete one last time during their senior seasons! <hr /> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 18pt;">2nd Team</span></span></p> <p style="padding-left: 80px;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="149705" first="Aliyah" last="Green"] Ι 6’2" PF Ι RayPec Ι </strong><strong>KC Dream Ι Memphis Commit</strong></p> The University of Memphis commit, Aliyah is a high skill forward with a soft touch around the basket. She is an outstanding shot-blocker with excellent defensive footwork and a quick first jump. She is the fast forward in the city end to end and finishes fast breaks at a high level. Aliyah plays to her strengths and always has a positive impact on the game. <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="194112" first="Shannon" last="Karlin"] Ι 6’0" SF Ι Notre Dame De Sion Ι NL Eclipse</strong><strong> Ι Cal-Poly Commit</strong></p> A gifted wing forward, Shannon can really create off the bounce while attacking the rim. She can play all five spots on the floor and really understands how to move without the ball. She scores at all three levels and is a solid perimeter and post defender. Shannon anticipates well on defense and she can play out in space. Her mid-range game is excellent; pulling up off the dribble. <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="106863" first="Kiyley" last="Flowers"] Ι 5’7" CG Ι Fort Osage Ι KC Lady Run GMC</strong><strong> Ι Grand Canyon Commit</strong></p> An athletic lead guard with excellent handles and vision, Kiyley can do it all on the floor. She has deep range out past the three-point line. With the ball in her hands and the attention of the defense, Kiyley has ways of being dynamic with the ball and creating scoring opportunities for herself. She has excellent court vision and awareness as an elite-level playmaker that gets others involved. She also uses her skills and abilities to uplift her teams to another level throughout games. <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="194128" first="Emma" last="Perry"] Ι 5’9" SG Ι Liberty North Ι Della Lamb Running Angels</strong><strong> Ι Southwest Baptist Commit</strong></p> An elite-level shooter, Emma has really shot the ball well this AAU season. She is excellent coming off screens and has a quick smooth release; she has ’in the gym range’. She has good speed and quickness and is a very capable ball-handler. She can get to the basket off the bounce. Emma does not shot hunt or force up shots. She has a great understanding of how to create space without the ball. <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="161986" first="Chorus" last="Davis"] Ι 5’8" CG Ι Lincoln Prep Ι NL Eclipse</strong><strong> Ι Missouri S&amp;T Commit</strong></p> A dynamic playmaking point guard that is unguardable off the bounce and a terror as an on-ball defender, the Class 4 All-State, and conference player of the year, Chorus is one of the more complete basketball players in the city. She sees and reads the floor well, is a knockdown shooter in catch and shot or off the dribble. Her on-ball defense is a joy to watch and she rebounds it well from her position.
