There was a lot of talent in the building for the Minnesota Top 250 and with over 190 players it was tough to stand out. However, there were quite a few players in the 2021 class who shot the ball very well. Below I take a look at the five players who I saw shoot the ball the best. Next up we will start to take a look at the 2022 class.

[player_tooltip player_id="2126" first="Gianna" last="Kneepkens"] - 5’11 G - Duluth Marshall HS
Kneepkens shot the ball well at the Expo but she was also able to get to the rim. She brought out a bag of tricks as she was get to the rim in all sorts of ways to score it. She was cutting hard, getting to the rim off the bounce, hitting stepbacks in the midrange, and knocking down 3-pointers. It was a great scoring barrage and I thought that she showed why she is among the top players in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id="109785" first="Piper" last="Terry"] - 5’9 G - Wayzata HS
Terry was very impressive at the showcase on Saturday as she was aggressive in getting to the rim and making plays happen. As a nifty finisher at the rim I thought that Terry showed poise when getting into the lane as she finished over the top of the taller players and you can tell that she is much more confident in attacking the rim as she has grown. She has a knack for scoring the basketball at a high level.

Bianca Benson - 5’4 PG - Lakeville South HS
Benson is a floor general but at the showcase I thought that she showed a nice spark on the offensive side of the ball. She can get hot from beyond the arc and fill it up but she is shifty and her ball handling is good enough that she can thread her way through the lane to the basket. I have been really impressed with her scoring ability from the Fall Exclusive and that has seemed to carry over to the Expo.

Ella Jerdee - 5’4 G - Northfield HS
Jerdee was a small lead guard who really stood out at the Expo. She can pass it but she showed me on Saturday that she can really score the ball too. She has a solid looking shot that she can get off quickly and has no hesitation from shooting it from beyond the arc. She’s also small enough that she can weave pretty easily through defenders and get into the lane for a floater or a layin. It was my first time seeing her and I was very impressed with her scoring prowess.

Grace Conzemius - 6’1 F - Breckenridge HS
Conzemius is a very solidly built post player who has an array of moves that she used to get to the rim. She doesn’t use just one move to get to the rim so that kept the defense off balance all afternoon long. Once in college she’ll be even better as she learns how to control her body better but at the high school level she is very effective in scoring the ball once she gets into position.
