Donza has graduated and now it is up to Capua to act as the No. 1 option. That transition should be no problem. Not many teams have a second option that scores 512 points, knocks down 62 three’s, and totals 112 steals.
Capua is a legitimate scorer. She is a threat from anywhere on the floor. Jackson Memorial likes to have the ball in her hands because she is smart and knows how to get an open shot. Capua can patrol the perimeter and find the open spot to get a shot off using her quick release. Her three-point threat makes defenders come out to guard her and she is also quick enough to go by them and strong enough to finish with contact.
On the defensive end, Capua can guard all five positions. She thrives on the perimeter using her quick hands and feet. Her anticipation is next level and this is why she was able to lead Jackson Memorial in steals as a junior.
Capua does not have to play another game to be considered one of the all-time greats at Jackson Memorial. She was elite from the time she was a freshman. She already has scored over 1,000 points and will look to have that number inflated significantly this season.
When it comes to athleticism, Capua is right up there with anyone in the state. She is currently ranked third in our Class of 2021 rankings, but that could change once the season begins. Capua is going to put up huge numbers as a senior and will look to keep Jackson Memorial right at the top of the Shore Conference.
