And the good news for the Tigers is that all 12 players who were on the active roster for that return led by Cassidy Nelson. Nelson made 36 three-pointers last year with McKinna Hogan adding 29 and Jynessa cox 23.

It was a memorable season for Lewis Central, as the Titans reached the Class 4A state championship game. They pushed unbeaten North Scott until the end, finishing the year 21-6 overall. A dozen players with experience on that team return including starter [player_tooltip player_id="131224" first="McKenna" last="Pettepier"]. Lewis Central was a big-time 3-point shooting team last season, sinking over 200 triples and shooting nearly 32 percent as a team.

Key contributors [player_tooltip player_id="129011" first="Alexis" last="Beier"], [player_tooltip player_id="164969" first="Keegan" last="Krejca"] and Kaitlyn Brunson are all back for Linn-Mar, which won eight games a year ago. Beier and Brunson were a pair of threats from all areas of the court, making over 70 three-pointers. Beier shot 39 percent from deep and also had 34 assists. Brunson chipped in 52 rebounds, 52 assists and 40 steals.
