28.5 League "The Bubble" Session III was an event with worthy adversaries as the competition was stiff with teams from all along the West Coast regardless of shoe company affiliation. Amongst these teams were several standouts from the Beaver State. [player_tooltip player_id="158555" first="Keelie" last="O’Hollaren"] continued her cerebral approach to the offensive game for Oregon Elite Gold with significant scoring outputs. Hanne Hopkins for Oregon Elite Bronze showed resilience and toughness when it comes to scoring the ball. [player_tooltip player_id="207835" first="Campbell" last="Sheffield"] is an all-around forward whose role is to make things run more smooth when she is out on the floor. [player_tooltip player_id="158476" first="Sydney" last="Burns"] is the hyperactive guard who turns it on at the drop of a pen. Cali Densen is the ball dominant guard who can score in a hurry. [player_tooltip player_id="158486" first="Cami" last="Fulcher"] and [player_tooltip player_id="158530" first="Elka" last="Prechel"] also had standout performances for their clubs worthy of mention. [player_tooltip player_id="158555" first="Keelie" last="O’Hollaren"] 2023 5’10" SG Oregon Elite Gold/Lakeridge HS - Keelie continued to establish the fact of the matter that she is an established perimeter scorer that knows when and where to score. She gets to her spots in a hurry and scores in a multitude of ways - floaters, mid-range jumpers, and alongside the arc. Her 19 and 22 point contributions were a very telling tale of her ability to score in an efficient and steadfast manner for Oregon Elite Gold. Hanne Hopkins 2023 5’8" SG Oregon Elite Bronze/Gladstone HS - There is a certainly slipperiness to Hanne that can only be seen on the court, as she evades and slips past defenders with a lot of fluidity. She also has the ability to get loose in the transition setting - coast to coast. Hopkins is a player with a lot of upside due to her scoring ability and fearlessness. Her 8 point, 3 rebound effort was a very telling effort versus Cal Sparks SS24. [player_tooltip player_id="207835" first="Campbell" last="Sheffield"] 2022 5’10" SF Oregon Elite Bronze/West Linn HS - Campbell is an eclectic player who brings a lot of value to her team by doing all the same things, as she is a fundamentally sound forward who truly does it all. Her ability to rebound and score inside are essential for her team as she also brings an edge on defense. Her 6 point, 4 rebound, 2 assist effort versus Cal Sparks SS24 was very indicative of her all-around game. [player_tooltip player_id="158476" first="Sydney" last="Burns"] 2021 5’9" SG Oregon Elite Navy/Wilsonville HS - The UC-Davis commit is a high motor, electric guard who plays at a staggering pace as she set the tone for Oregon Elite Navy - particularly versus a rugged NW Blazers team. She single handedly kept them in the contest with a flurry of assists and interior scores, as she has a nose for both of these abilities. Her 13 point, 3 rebound, 7 assist effort versus the prolific Under Armour squad was amongst her best performances. [player_tooltip player_id="158514" first="Cali" last="Denson"] 2022 5’6" SG ABA/Milwaukie HS - The prolific shooting guard recently received an offer from Tulsa, as this past weekend she showed what the hype is all about. A calm but fierce player who can turn it on at any given second, she has the uncanny ability to score from all-three levels, bounded by her deceptive dribbling skills. Was routinely making three-pointers and handing out flashy assists all weekend long for ABA. Honorable Mention [player_tooltip player_id="158486" first="Cami" last="Fulcher"] 2021 5’8" SG Oregon Elite Navy/West Linn HS - Cami is a tough guard with a playmaking demeanor who makes sure the bearings are tightened on a talented heavy Oregon Elite Navy squad. She has a particular way of getting into the paint and scoring and oftentimes gets to the free throw line. Determined defender who isn’t afraid of digging down on that end. Her 9 point, 1 assist effort for Oregon Elite was a proving factor for her overall game. [player_tooltip player_id="158530" first="Elka" last="Prechel"] 2022 5’6" SG Oregon Elite Bronze/Corvallis HS - Elka is a confident scorer with a quick release on her shot as of late she is showing her ability to score from the mid-range area. An aggressive and established defender who does it with a lot of resilience and effort. Her 7 point, 2 rebound effort versus Cal Sparks SS24 was an ideal performance of her ability to be a spark plug offensively for her team.
