2021: CNHY Showcase

Prep Girls Hoops took in the action on Saturday from CHNY Showcase being held at Cardinal Newman in Columbia. The event featured several top players from the Palmetto State. Jones plays down in the post and plays very active around the cup. Jones is the vocal leader of this squad here today. Jones finished on contact and she really tried to got to work in the paint. Etheredge has a good frame from the guard spot and at times was able to post up on the offensive end of the floor. Etheredge a vocal leader on the floor with positive attitude with her teammates. Burton played extremely aggressive while trying to work up in the post with [player_tooltip player_id="124089" first="Ashlyn" last="Watkins"]. Burton battles on contact and seems to like to play physical. Burton would work block to block and never seemed to back down from a challenge. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="124085" first="Kourtney" last="English"] - Dreher HS (pictured on the front)</strong> English rebounded the ball well on both ends of the floor tonight. English didn’t hesitate at all to get on the floor for a loose ball. Quattlebaum wasn’t afraid to dive on the floor for a loose ball or sacrifice her body on the defensive end of the floor. Quattlebaum a combo guard seems a bit more comfortable playing off the ball at the shooting guard position. Quattlebaum can knockdown the three pointer or a mid-range jumper. &nbsp;
