The Beaver State has traditionally been a place with high caliber players through the entirety of the state as we take a look at the best players at face value. Audrey Roden Audrey Roden 5'9" | SG West Linn | 2021 State OR gets a nod for the top position – as she showcased as a high motor two-way player playing on the highest stage in that of the Nike EYBL with a Cal Stars team star studded with top California talents in that of Talana Lepolo, Calli Stokes, amongst others. Her running-mate Aaronette Vonleh Aaronette Vonleh 6'3" | C West Linn | 2021 State #76 Nation OR is up next as she continued to bruise through her competition as a dominant force in the paint. Sydney Burns Sydney Burns 5'8" | PG Wilsonville | 2021 State OR has put a masterful collection as a steadfast with tremendous ability, taking over games singlehandedly for Oregon Elite Navy. Hilary James Hilary James 5'6" | PG South Salem | 2021 OR decided to leave early for Lipscomb – but not without leaving an imprint and legacy at South Salem. Allie Hueckman Allie Hueckman 5'10" | SG Burns | 2021 State OR put the State of Oregon on notice as she has had some eyepopping performance for Oregon Elite Navy and checks in at the final spot on the top five.
- Audrey Roden Audrey Roden 5'9" | SG West Linn | 2021 State OR 2021 5’9″ SG Cal Stars/West Linn HS – Roden put together a masterful summer for the elusive Cal Stars program of the Nike EYBL – as she was their leading scorer in numerous tournaments. MaxPreps recently named her the best player in the State of Oregon – as it is difficult to argue with that notion as she is an aggressive two-way player that scores in bunches and brings the intensity on defense. Pound for pound the toughest player in the State.
- Aaronette Vonleh Aaronette Vonleh 6'3" | C West Linn | 2021 State #76 Nation OR 2021 6’3″ C Cal Stars/West Linn HS – Next to Roden is her running-mate on West Linn and Cal Stars in that of Aaronette Vonleh Aaronette Vonleh 6'3" | C West Linn | 2021 State #76 Nation OR as the Arizona commit continued to show her dominance in the paint. The 6’3” center looks to be more mobile in the paint as she finishes with both power and finesse when she obtains the positioning down-low. She anchored the paint for Cal Stars and looks to do the same thing for the Lions. 3.
- Sydney Burns Sydney Burns 5'8" | PG Wilsonville | 2021 State OR 2021 5’8″ PG Oregon Elite Gold/Wilsonville HS – The UC Davis commit is a triple-double threat every contest for Oregon Elite Navy, as the high motor guard plays at such a blistering and consistent pace out on the hardwood, taking over games in stretches. She sets others up well through her constant facilitating ways and can score in tough scenarios when the game is on the line. Burns has put Oregon Elite Navy on the map as far as West Coast elite programs.
- Hilary James Hilary James 5'6" | PG South Salem | 2021 OR 2021 5’6″ PG Oregon Swish/South Salem HS – The Lipscomb signee recently made history, becoming perhaps the first Oregon girls high school basketball player to graduate from school early to kick start her career in Tennessee. James is a workhorse who constantly pushes her game to the next level, as a charismatic and relentless player who sets examples for her teammates. So it made sense as to her being the first to announce an early departure from her high school.
- Allie Hueckman Allie Hueckman 5'10" | SG Burns | 2021 State OR 2021 5’10″ SG Oregon Elite Navy/Burns HS – Hueckman’s talents on the basketball are undeniable at this point, as she has had some huge games for the Oregon Elite program over the last few months. Perhaps her most memorable was her 22 outburst in the first half versus a formidable NW Blazers Orange team, as she made a barrage of shots from deep to keep her team in the contest. Hueckman is an elite athlete that excels not only in basketball but as well as volleyball and track and field.
